This is an introductory course for students wanting to learn the key concepts and practices of taxation in Canada. The main objective of this course is to provide a basic understanding of Canadian Taxation in the related fields of Bookkeeping and Accounting. This course includes topics on personal tax, corporate tax, processes of GST/PST, and deductions available under the tax laws in Canada. Students will be able to prepare T1 General and T2 Corporate Tax returns at the end of this course.
High School Diploma or Equivalent or Mature Student Status (19 years of age or more) and Proof of English Language Proficiency.
For English Language Domestic Students need to have Grade 10 English or Successful Completion of English Language Proficiency Assessment Test conducted by College Authorities.
International Students will need to submit a proof of English Language Competency by any one of the following options:
