The Certified IT Engineer (CITE 300) program prepares individuals to plan, manage and secure the network infrastructure of an enterprise, on the premises, and on the cloud. The program includes knowledge and skill development in business communications and leadership, as well as the essential technical knowledge. The technology focus of this program is network administration, with an emphasis on Windows environments, hardware tools, networking tools and security of the network infrastructure.
The CITE 300 program fulfills the need for trained intermediate level cloud/network administrators and security professionals. With major trends in the IT industry moving to virtualization and cloud services, students in this program will learn essential skills to implement virtualization and securely integrate cloud services in existing IT infrastructures. Program graduates will be well equipped to compete for entry and intermediate level jobs in network administration and security.

Earn up to $57 per hour
High School graduate (grade 12) or Mature Applicant Status (age 19 or older)
English 12 (60% or better grade) or College English Assessment Test
Pass a math entrance test given by the College
For language proficiency, International Students can give their IELTS (General or Academic) score with an overall band of 5.5 or the CLB with Level 7
1060 Hours / 53 weeks/ 12.5 months
The program is fifty-three weeks in length. It includes forty-nine weeks of full-time classroom learning, and a four week industry practicum. The Certified IT Engineer program requires 1060 hours to complete. The program is offered in a full-time format, scheduled four hours every day, Monday to Friday.
