Program Overview

Managing an office needs a variety of skills that need to be learnt and mastered. This program focuses on teaching these skills to the students, so they are able to successfully carry out most of the office and administrative tasks like file management, using telephones and fax machines, organizing meetings and seminars. This program also includes 60 hours of practicum to give students valuable experience in an office setting.

Wages

Earn up to $33.00* per hour as an Office Assistant
All wages are taken from the Canada Job Bank

Program Admission Requirements

Grade 12 or Mature Student Status (19 years of age or older)

For proof of English Language competency, Applicants whose first language is English need to provide proof of proficiency through the following:

  • Completion of grade 10 English.

Applicants whose first language is not English need to provide proof of the CLB Level 6 or more OR an equivalent English Language assessment test OR successfully complete the English Language Test and Interview conducted by College Authorities.

Other acceptable English test scores include:

  • IELTS Band score 5.5
  • TOEFL
  • CLB
  • CELPIP
  • Duolingo score of 85 or higher
